Paying attention to the cycles of the natural world and attuning ourselves to the shift in seasons both inside and out can be a curious way to be in conversation with your physical, mental, energetic, and emotional bodies. According to TCM, the fall months are considered the season of the lungs, the colon, and the skin. This 5 class series is inspired by the elemental and emotional links to the fall months: metal + grief. Through both exhale and excrement we’ll endeavour to be like a leaf and let go.
Together we’ll explore the respiratory system with preparatory pranayam and dynamic movement to meet breath capacity. We’ll support the colon in elimination with intentional movement and dynamic kriya from the kundalini lineage inspired by vinyasa + pilates styles of movement.
Monday-Friday @ 7:30-9am EST via Zoom
Classes will be recorded so you can join live or follow along whenever and however you feel.
Series includes access to five distinct 90 minute classes, a PDF with additional information on the function of the lungs + colon, and journal prompts. Optional herbal support in the form of tea or tincture c/o Rosewood + Silver.
